Services

We provide complete eye care to patients of all ages, including vision screening examinations, diabetic eye evaluations, diagnosis and treatment of cataracts and glaucoma, and cataract and laser surgery performed by Dr. David Howard, Board certified Ophthalmologist in Cincinnati. We have appointments available Monday through Saturday with evening hours on Thursday in our Anderson office and hours on Tuesday and Thursday in Georgetown office .

For patient convenience, we carry a complete line of eyeglasses, contact lenses and latest in coatings and specialty products in our Anderson office. Our experienced, licensed opticians can assists you with contact lens fittings or selection of eyeglasses or products that best suit your lifestyle needs. All products carry a one-year warranty. Both our technical and optical staff, are continually trained on the latest advances and technology in eye care and they are eager to assist you.

Emergencies

If you have an emergency during regular hours, we will make every attempt to see you on the day that you call. After hours, we can be contacted simply by calling the office 513.388.4000. The answering service staff is trained to relay your questions promptly to the ophthalmologist on call.

Cancellations

We make every effort not to cancel appointments. Sometimes due to circumstances beyond our control we find it necessary to reschedule your appointment. We will attempt to reach you as soon as possible in the event of a cancellation. Please provide us with a phone number where you can be reached for emergencies.

We understand that it is occasionally necessary for you to cancel an appointment. We ask that you kindly give 24 hours notice when possible so we may offer the appointment to another patient.

Registration

In order to expedite the check in process, we have included a packet of registration forms that can be completed prior to your visit. We ask that you bring this packet on the day of your visit. If you are unable to complete the packet prior to your scheduled appointment, please arrive 15-20 minutes early to complete the forms. If you have difficulty reading or other vision problems, a staff member will be happy to assist you. You will also need to bring your current insurance card and a list of any medications that you are currently taking.

Fees and Insurance

We attempt to participate in as many insurance plans as possible and accept their payment guidelines. While we try our best to keep current with insurance developments, the ultimate responsibility for knowing the specifics of your particular policy must remain with you. Please review your policy and become familiar with all requirements regarding co-payments and referrals prior to your appointments. It will be necessary for us to make a copy of your current insurance card at the time of your appointment. Payment is expected at the time of service for non-covered services and co-payments. We accept cash, checks, debit, and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and Discover). Under special circumstances delayed payment arrangements can be made in advance by contacting our billing department at 513.388.4005. If you are not prepared to pay at the time of service and additional billing fee may be added. As always, we are happy to assist you with questions concerning insurance and billing.
